Abstract

In the following paper, I defend the thesis that, in societies that suffer continuous crisis that hurt the self-confidence of the population, the main press tries to sell its readers the double illusion of partaking the glamour of the sport idols and that their children, through a sport career, may attain the club of the rich and famous.
