Abstract

Those who support technological improvements without any restriction have become enthusiastic with the development of nanotechnology. Such partisans of an unrestricted science take the legitimacy of technological improvements for granted. The following paper debates the ethical implications of nanotechnology and the need for a precaution principle toward any imposition of these new technologies, which are often involved with commercial interests.
