Abstract
The research aimed to design a proposal to improve the production flow at Diseño y Confecciones Ensueño through the application of continuous improvement tools and social responsibility criteria. The study was conducted using a mixed-methods approach, with a non-experimental design and action research methodology. The diagnostic process employed direct observation, interviews, time and motion studies, spaghetti diagrams, process mapping, and analysis of productivity indicators. The results identified bottlenecks in the garment-making operations, unnecessary material and personnel movement, unproductive time, and ergonomic conditions that could be improved. Based on these findings, a proposal was designed using the Kanban methodology to optimize workflow, reduce waiting times, and improve the visual management of production. This was complemented by actions aimed at strengthening corporate social responsibility and improving working conditions. The study concludes that integrating Lean tools and social responsibility practices constitutes a viable alternative for increasing productivity and promoting the operational sustainability of small businesses in the textile sector.
