Abstract
The use of acronyms to define business environment analysis models will depend on the factors we wish to study. The PEST Analysis, that is, of the Political, Economic, Social and Technological factors, has been predominant in the framework of the globalized and business dynamism in our country and the world. But, today, we must ask ourselves if it will only be enough to carry out a PEST Analysis to establish an overview and that it can lead to actions to reduce the uncertainty of events that are out of our hands, or to identify opportunities that can generate other types of businesses. The environment involves many aspects and the dynamics of these at the present time are becoming increasingly complex due to issues such as the global supply chain, inflation, hydrocarbons, energy, geopolitical conflicts, the impacts that still persist due to the COVID pandemic, but also due to a factor that we have rarely addressed in our analyses: climate change, a variable that is definitely worth starting to consider.
