Abstract
A sustainable company is one that seeks to create environmental, social and economic value in the short, medium and long term, thus seeking a positive impact on the well-being and progress of present and future generations. The diagnosis of the level of sustainability in the companies of the gastronomic sector of the municipality of Olocuilta, specifically belonging to the pupusódromo “El Manguito”, aims to evaluate micro and small companies, based on generalized indicators aimed at measuring the level of current sustainability of the same. An exploratory investigation was carried out, in which surveys were used and interviews were conducted, information was collected regarding the three factors that make up the sustainability framework. The results obtained show that there is great strength at the economic level and opportunities for social and environmental improvement.
