Abstract
This catalog is a result of a review of materials on Sergio Méndez Arceo, a Mexican bishop who was active in the solidarity movement with the Salvadoran revolutionary process, and Ignacio Ellacuría, martyred rector of the UCA. Both are key figures in the study and understanding of the complexity that led to the Salvadoran civil war (1980-1992) and the dialogue/negotiation process that brought it to an end. The objective is to encourage, from the hints found in the sources consulted, further research on that period and on the theoretical and practical profile of these two authors and political actors who seek peace with justice in the country and in the world.
