Abstract

Migration is a phenomenon that has been linked with Salvadoran society since a long time ago. Nevertheless, it gets new features when a characteristic phenomenon of the present enters in scene: Globalization. In fact, as the authors argue, migratory fluxes become a new expression of globalization.
