The hegemony and the social: an approach from critical sociology

Abstract

Since sociology needs to incorporate new discussions, in the following work some of the most relevant aspects of intellectual and moral hegemony are studied. The discussion takes into account Antonio Gramsci's and other author's contributions to the study of hegemony and its relation with the reproduction and social change processes in the contemporary society.
