Abstract
Since the collapse of the Soviet bloc, it is a commonplace to speak about the death of marxism. This perception has also been strengthened by the Neo-Liberal ideology and a Post-Modern cultural background. This Post-Modern sensibility would be expressed as disenchantment with the promises of liberation that was supported by the traditions of critical thought.
