Abstract

The crisis of the so-called representative democracies in Central American is the end of a scenario in which the right-wing forces began to lose control and hegemony of the new political processes. The military coup d’état in Honduras is a major effort to change the force correlation in Latin America, in the context of the recent electoral triumph of a left-wing party in El Salvador
