Abstract
In more than three decades in which it has not been possible to try the intellectual authors of the UCA massacre, two things have not changed: the impunity enjoyed by the perpetrators of the massacre and the tenacity of the UCA and the Society of Jesus to ensure that the truth is known and justice is done in El Salvador. What has been the logic of those who have obstructed justice? What has made impunity possible? Does the recent reopening of the case seek to recognize the truth and justice or will impunity continue? This writing pretends to address those questions.
