Digital preservation policies
Procesos performs its digital preservation of the scientific and academic production of the institution, through electronic media, guaranteeing its long-term protection.
Long-term preservation:
- Internally, the digital archives of the journal are hosted on the institution's own servers, in order to guarantee their integrity and originality. It also has backup copies, updated every three months.
- Proceso, through its own site, is part of the Public Knowledge Projects Preservation Network (PKP-PN) and it is aimed at the preservation of electronic journals. PKP provides data to the Keepers Registry about the OJS journals preserved in the systems of LOCKSS and CLOCKSS.
